Social Problems of Children Having Cluttering

Clutterers, people having cluttering disorders, have various problems which affect their social life. Every clutterer has some social problem but, it seems to me that children having cluttering are affected by these problems more than adult clutterers because children are not aware enough about disorders, therefore they tend to blame themselves due to the effects of the disorder. This unawareness makes these children's problems more serious and destructive psychologically. In my opinion, there are three main problems that affect the social life of children having cluttering: communication difficulties, academic failure, and peer victimization.

Firstly, communication problems that are caused by cluttering affect children seriously. Children having cluttering speak fast and make cluttered sentences. Their teachers, friends, even their parents usually cannot understand their speech and what these children want. I am certain these children feel bad when they are not understood. Not being understood and not knowing why they cannot express themselves might cause children not to want to communicate and prefer to silent. Briefly, these communication difficulties can decrease the social life quality of children and cause being dissocial.

Secondly, I am sure that clutterer children face some problems at school that causes them to be unsuccessful. It seems to me these children often have difficulty answering their teachers' questions because of cluttering disorder. Because these students usually make complicated sentences using rambling words, their teachers might say they are lazy. These children can lose their self-esteem and feel mindless due to wrong attitude of their teachers. In short, this situation might cause unwillingness to study and failure.

The last problem that clutterer children have is peer bullying. Most of the time, because the speeches of these children are fast and incomprehensible, these children might be excluded by peers. Their peers might ridicule and not want to play with them because not understanding their speech. In time, these children cannot try talking and playing with their peers because of the fear of humiliation. This problem makes children be antisocial like the first problem and affect the social skills of children negative.

In conclusion, cluttering disorder causes social and communications problems, being unsuccessful and being exposed to pressure for clutterer children. In my opinion, their parents and teachers should focus on these problems and this disorder should be treated because they decrease clutterer children's quality of life. I believe, thanks to therapies, these children can communicate better, and have more successful and social life and gain self-confidence.
